Becoming a landscape architect: History and evolution of landscape architecture education

This two-day conference proposes, on the occasion of the Biennial of architecture and landscape of Île-de-France, to exchange on the evolution of landscape and landscape architecture training in France and abroad. The call for papers proposed three axes: the history of landscape training before the end of the Second World War; the evolution of landscape training from 1947 (creation of the IFLA) to today; the contribution of disciplines and interdisciplinarity to the training of landscape and landscape project professionals.

How to participate

Participation in the conference is free of charge, but due to the limited number of places, registration is mandatory.

Some lectures will be given in English, but most will be in French. There will be no simultaneous translation.
